Teacher, Harrow Gate Primary

Anti-Social Behaviour
Why For is an interactive drama based workshop that challenges the young peoples perceptions of the world around them and examines the notion of ’rules’ and the need to ‘fit in’. Exploring the influence of alcohol misuse and it’s impact on the community the workshop has a focus on the consequences and dangers of anti-social behaviour.

Bullying
Together is a hard hitting but fun interactive session where the young people learn to recognise the different forms of bullying and explore ways of dealing with them. No one deserves to be bullied and no one has the right to bully another person. By working together as a group the children learn how to support and help each other through what can be a very traumatic experience.

Substance Misuse
Stick or Twist is an interactive, fun workshop that revolves around three 9 year old characters who like all young people are curious and often do things without thinking of the consequences. We explore issues around risk taking, decision making, consequences, peer influence, misusing legal drugs including alcohol and medicine and making mistakes.
