Using tried and tested interactive drama techniques participants are quickly shown that this is not your usual training course. Gibber encourages participants to become more aware of individual barriers to employment pushing their comfort zones, increasing confidence, raising self esteem and ultimately improving upon their employability skills.
By recognising the transferable skills they already have and being encouraged to put them into practice Gibber’s employability programmes aid personal development and leave the participants feeling empowered, motivated and ready to progress.
The workshop focuses on motivating the individual to take responsibility for themselves and their own future and to feel more positive about themselves. By raising self expectations we build confidence and aid personal development.
The workshop challenges the participants’ negativity in a non-threatening friendly atmosphere and gives them a platform to air their own views and opinions. The overall objective for the day is to give the participants an enjoyable and positive experience that will raise their self esteem and live long in the memory.
Our e2e workshops aim to motivate young people to achieve their potential, take responsibility for their future and explore relevant youth issues. Using interactive exercises and drama techniques the workshops examine potential barriers to progression including alcohol and antisocial behaviour and examine employability skills, employer expectations and good working relationships. They are an excellent way of improving communication skills as well as addressing problem solving and effective thinking.
Gibber has extensive experience working with young people of all abilities and backgrounds including socially excluded, looked after children, disaffected young people and groups of young offenders. We have developed a flexible programme of smaller scale workshops to cover a range of age appropriate issues including general confidence and motivation, careers, substance misuse and sexual health. These intimate sessions enable the young people to learn at their own pace and discover the answers for themselves.
Being fully involved helps make the issues ‘more real’ and encourages the young people to identify their own individual barriers to learning, gaining a clearer understanding of the choices available to them with a relevance to their own lives.

An intensive fun packed project working along side theatre and/or television industry professionals to produce an original performance and/or short film. The participants learn and enhance their skills in acting, singing, dance and comedy and then put them to the test in an original live performance or film shoot.
This is an extremely creative process where the participants will develop key life skills and learn the value of working as a team whilst having fun.
Whatever your budget Gibber will create a broadcast quality visual solution that will communicate your objectives and achieve results.
