   Film Day - One North East

Format: Full day facilitated event with live scenarios and DVD

Brief
To facilitate a creative team building day for 120 delegates that would assist them in making short films relating to the Directorate’s areas of work: Enterprise, Rural, Physical Regeneration, Science, Skills, Arts and Culture, Policy, Agency, Corporate, Manufacturing and Sustainability to be uploaded onto the web at the end of the day. Consideration is to be given on how they might perform/carry out each film e.g. a panel discussion; interview; single presentation or news report.

Results
Gibber effectively facilitated the creative team building day, through scripted scenarios, a bespoke humorous film on what not to do when filming and technical expertise. This proved motivational and provided the film making know which inspired individual creativity and a confident use of new technology. Gibber assisted teams to plan, shoot and edit their raw footage around the work of One North East as identified in the brief. Gibber challenged the group to perform outside their comfort zone and suggested methods on how they might incorporate their ideas and the lessons learnt to develop a 3 min. film to stand out from the rest. All films were successfully produced and up loaded onto the web at the end of the day.
