Inspired by Ronnie Sabin’s book, ‘The Long Way Home’ written by Jo Bailey; we had the pleasure of making this short documentary with Ronnie.
Solution
The film features Ronnie as he reunites with family in the UK. 55 years after being sent from his home in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, to Australia as a child migrant under the care of the Fairbridge Organisation. ‘The Long Way Home’ is a fascinating, heart-warming read. Ronnie credits Fairbridge for inspiring a desire to make a success out of his life, both as a family man and as a businessman across Australia and New Zealand.
